Jamie graduated from George Washington University in 1993 with a degree in Political Science. He has Executive Education experience in Valuation from the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, and in Behavioral Finance from Harvard University. Jamie is a candidate for the Certified Alternative Investment Asset Analyst designation, sponsored by the Alternative Investment Management Association Ltd.(AIMA). He joined Rockrimmon Securities as an Options Trader on the American Stock Exchange Floor in 1994. In 1997 he began work as an Independent Trader for his own company and then for RLW Trading, a division of Broadway LLC, in 1998. Jamie then joined Elmwood Capital LLC, a long/short equity hedge fund, in 2001 as the Head Trader. Jamie has traded over 3.5 Billion shares in his personal account over the last 18 years. Jamie’s strategy can be described as momentum with an emphasis on sentiment and investor psychology.
Director of Market Intelligence and Trading Analysis
Sal graduated from St. John’s University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts and a Minor in Business Administration. He joined Smith Barney in 1997 on the retail side, before becoming Assistant Director of Radio FCN for three years, broadcasting market information to traders and its retail sales force over the "internal radio system." In 2003, he served as Director of Market Intelligence at Citigroup for more than four years, disseminating critical, market-moving information to the firm's traders and clients. Sal has spent his most recent years in Sales & Trading, continuing to build and foster new business relationships, while enhancing his general market knowledge.
Brian graduated from Chaminade High School and the University Of Vermont Kalkin School Of Business with a concentration in Finance. He began his career with Knight Capital Markets, working his way to market maker. Brian later expanded his market repertoire, working with various sell-side research brokerage firms, such as Sidoti & Co., and William O’Neill & Co., as an Account Executive. With over 20 years-experience in the financial industry, Brian has built a unique perspective into “market intelligence” understanding an ability to read the tape and apply second level thinking in a fast paced environment. Brian also carried several market licenses, including the series 7, 24, 55, 65, and 63 licenses as well as previously passing The Connecticut Life and Health Insurance Exam.
